Privacy Policy

Information we collect

CanIFlyHere.us does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We do not run a backend server that processes your requests — all airspace queries go directly from your browser to the FAA's public ArcGIS servers.

When you use the Use my location feature, your device's GPS coordinates are used only to center the map and run an airspace query. This data is never sent to CanIFlyHere.us servers because no such servers exist — the site is a static file hosted on Cloudflare's edge network.

Cookies and tracking

CanIFlyHere.us itself does not set cookies or use tracking pixels. However, third-party services loaded by the page may set their own cookies:

• ArcGIS JS API (Esri) — the mapping library loaded from js.arcgis.com may set functional cookies to support map tile caching and session handling. See Esri's privacy statement for details.
• Google AdSense — if you are shown advertisements, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can manage ad personalization through your Google account settings or opt out via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

Cloudflare

This site is served through Cloudflare's content delivery network. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on how that data is handled.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-purpose aviation planning tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
